Nanny's Cold Remedy (not just ours!!!)

Steep:

1 Pot of Hot Tea (Orange Pekoe)

Pour a cup and stir in:

1 teaspoon of honey (or one Honey Drop™)
1 dash of lemon
*Alternative: one Honey Drop™ with Lemon


John's Power Smoothie

Blend in a Mixer:

1 Banana
1 Tablespoon of Honibe™ honey
1/4 Cup of PEI Blueberries
1/4 Cup of PEI Strawberries
1 Tablespoon of Soya or Whey Protein
1 Tablespoon of Omega 3-6-9 Oil (Alternative: Flax Oil)
1 Cup of Fresh Orange Juice
1 Cup of Fresh Cranberry Juice
Pour into a cup. Start your day!



Honey Carrot Soup

Ingredients:

1 pound carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
1 onion, chopped
2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
¼ cup Honibe™ honey
1 cup 2% low-fat milk
Ground nutmeg Minced chives

Instructions:

Place carrots, onion and chicken broth in large saucepan.
Cover and simmer over medium heat about 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Transfer mixture to blender or processor and blend until smooth.
Return too saucepan.
Add honey and milk.
Return to simmer.
Serve hot, sprinkled with nutmeg.
Garnish with chives.
May be served chilled, if desired.
